Regional Club World Show Qualifications

Rules and Conditions
The following rules and conditions apply to accumulation of points for year end standings for the purpose of becoming qualified to show at the World Appaloosa Show by receiving a regional club nomination.
  1. All applicable rules as specified by the Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) rule book apply.

Those rules include:

A. The show year will be September 1 through August 31.

B. Only nationally approved ApHC shows count toward year end standings.

C. In order to receive a World Show nomination the horse must earn at least 1 ApHC point in the class to be entered unless the national point qualification for that class is zero.

D. The owner of the horse must be a member in the Montana ApHC.

2. In order to be eligible for point accumulation for World Show nominations the horse must have been shown at the Montana State Appaloosa Horse Show. Any horse that has accumulated at least 1 national point and has shown in that class at the Montana State Appaloosa Horse Show will be eligible for the regional club invitation before a horse that did not show in that class at the State Show.

3. To accumulate points for year-end standings, the five places in each call will be counted.

4. To accumulate points for year-end standings, the horse must have at least two placies in the class to be entered if the class is not offered at the Montana State Appaloosa Horse Show. If the class is offered at the Montana State Appaloosa Show, the horse must have at least three places in the class.

5. It the exhibitor's responsibility to submit their results from approved shows (the Montana State Show Whose results will be forwarded directly from the show secretary to the point keeper). Results should be submitted on a standard form to the MTAPHC Secretary (or the point keeper designated as such by the MTAPHC board of Directors) as soon as possible after the show and no later that September 3rd. Show results received by the point keeper after September 3rd will not be counted toward year end standings.

  1. Please make certain you mail your results through out the year and so that they are received by the point keeper no later than September 3rd. The places need to be verified (form signed) by the show secretary of the show for which results are being submitted.

6. To calculate season standings in each class, points will be awards as outlined in the chart below. Points will be awarded on the basis on the number of entries that compete in the class.
