Regional Club World Show
Qualifications

Rules and Conditions |

|
The following rules and conditions apply to
accumulation of points for year end standings for the purpose of becoming
qualified to show at the World Appaloosa Show by receiving a regional club
nomination. |

All
applicable rules as specified by the Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC)
rule book apply.
Those rules include:

A. The show year will be September 1 through
August 31.
B.
Only nationally approved ApHC shows count toward year end standings.
C. In
order to receive a World Show nomination the horse must earn at least 1
ApHC point in the class to be entered unless the
national point qualification for that class is zero.
D. The owner of the horse must be a member
in the Montana ApHC.

2.
In order to be eligible for point accumulation for World
Show nominations the horse must have been shown at the Montana State Appaloosa
Horse Show.
Any horse that has accumulated at least 1 national point and has shown
in that class at the Montana State Appaloosa Horse Show will be eligible for
the regional club invitation before a horse that did not show in that class at
the State Show.

3. To accumulate
points for year-end standings, the five places in each call will be counted.
|

4. To accumulate points for year-end standings, the horse
must have at least
two
placies
in the class to be entered if the class is not offered at the
Montana
State Appaloosa Horse
Show. If the class is offered at the
Montana
State Appaloosa Show, the horse must have at least three
places
in the class.

5. It the exhibitor's responsibility to submit their results
from approved shows (the Montana State Show Whose results will be forwarded
directly from the show secretary to the point keeper). Results should be
submitted on a standard form to the MTAPHC Secretary (or the point keeper
designated as such by the MTAPHC board of Directors) as soon as possible after
the show and no later that September 3rd. Show results received by the
point keeper after September 3rd will not be counted toward year end standings.

- Please make certain you mail
your results through out the year and so that they are received by the point
keeper no later than September 3rd.
The places need to be verified (form signed)
by the show secretary of the show for which results are being submitted.

6. To calculate season standings in each class, points will be
awards as outlined in the chart below.
Points will be awarded on the basis on the number of entries that
compete in the class.

A. In those cattle classes that involve two
or more riders and horses, each Appaloosa will earn the same points as the
horses in single competitor classes, such as if team ropers win a class of 20,
each Appaloosa horse will earn 9 points.

B.
Grand Champion
will be
treated as
a halter class and
will receive two more points than the
high
point class in
their sex division. Reserve Champions will receive one more point than the
high point class in
their sex division.
